Our Team
Amy McFadden / President
Amy founded White Oak Forest Management out of a passion for helping people recognize the importance and value of their forestland. She works with family forest owners to scale the intensity of forest management to meet their personal financial needs and goals. Institutional investors appreciate her business acumen. She’s familiar with the rigorous expectations of investors and develops forest management plans to maximize the return on their forest investment. And she provides five year budgets which project income and document the performance of the previous year, in comparison to budget – all important factors with an investment in trees, rather than the stock market.

“When I walk into work- every day, there is always something to smile about. Our environment is upbeat, positive and family oriented.”
Will Caulder / Vice President
Will works with landowners to understand their personal goals for their forestland and develops forest management plan to help them reach those goals.
Working with a team of local contractors, he assists landowners with the implementation of the plan, including timber sales, site preparation, and replanting.
Each landowner is unique in his desire: some are focused on maximizing their financial return from timber, others value prime habitat for deer or turkey, and others may envision a beautiful place to camp.
I try to make a personal connection in order to best meet those needs.

“My first priority is to be a good husband and father; to teach my kids to follow Christ and to lead them in that direction; and to be respectful stewards of the gifts He has given us… the animals and the trees.”
Reed Rimmer / Equipment Operations Manager
Reed joined White Oak Forest Management first as an intern and later as a full time employee, after graduating from Horry Georgetown Technical College in 2012.
He began as a forest technician and is now responsible for White Oak’s growing forestry equipment services program.
The addition of a mulching machine and side arm cutter, allows White Oak to help landowners keep woods roads and pond banks maintained; and understory to be controlled in areas where it’s not possible or practical to conduct a prescribed burn.
Hometown: Andrews, South Carolina
“Being outdoors is my passion… fishing, hunting, camping, appreciating that everything in nature relies on something else. And God created it all.”
Niki Stenner / Office Manager
As White Oak’s Office Manager, Niki leads all administrative and financial duties, including assisting landowners with cost share paperwork, reconciling stumpage, and greeting you with a smile.
She incorporates her forestry background to create property maps and to support field work. And she’s quick to point out that the best part of her job is sharing time with Allison, Amy’s daughter.
Hometown: St. Louis, Missouri but has called the South home for 25 years
“Service to others has defined my life and it is how I receive joy.”
Billy Kodoma / Position
Billy joined White Oak in 2017 after nearly 20 years in the forest products industry. He spent much of his career monitoring for contract compliance during logging operations and chemical applications; and taking forest measurements. And he has the same responsibilities for White Oak – on many of the same properties he has worked on during his previous career. Billy works primarily with large landowners in Georgetown, Berkeley, and Colleton Counties.
Hometown: Moncks Corner, South Carolina
“White Oak has a very professional, experienced and intelligent crew that works together much like a family. There’s a lot of “give and take” and sharing when providing the best services to our clients.”
Garrett Taylor / Forestry Technician
Garrett Taylor’s home away from home is in the woods where you can find him cruising timber, taking soil samples, overseeing loggers, operating White Oak Forest Management’s side arm cutter, or looking after the 10,000-acre unit he is responsible for in Williamsburg County. Ironically, his experience with Amy McFadden has truly come full circle, as he once was a student of hers at Horry-Georgetown Tech.
White Oak Forest Management gives me the opportunity to work in a variety of places with a variety of people; and the flexibility to enjoy watching my young twins grow up and to spend time with my wife and grown daughter.
Hometown: Johnsonville, South Carolina
“I love being in a job where I can come home every day to see my kids happy.”
Jim Bland / Forester
It is very rewarding to know that I am part of managing a resource that is South Carolina’s leading cash crop. Additionally, it provides me the opportunity to help people who do not understand our business become more aware of what we do and how it benefits their lives.
After retiring from decades of service with the forest products industry, Jim found himself a little restless, missing the people, the forest and the “wood business”. He knew if he were to return to work, he’d be very selective about his employer. Being familiar with Amy McFadden and her reputation in the industry, he knew working for White Oak Forest Management would be a good fit. Today you’ll find Jim managing his 16,000-acre area of responsibility in Georgetown County, processing timber sales settlements, conducting BMP inspections and assisting the broader team with SFI certification and associated audits.
Hometown: Blacksburg, Virginia
“I quickly grew to respect Amy through utilizing her forestry services while with industry as well as her professional leadership in many state and local organizations. I thoroughly enjoy being part of her tight knit team where everyone pulls together.”
